Gorgeous actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu might have shot into limelight two years ago itself as Jessie, but 2012 was undoubtedly a crucial one for her as it was in this year that her career graphs shot to pitch and received multiple offers from many top film makers. Although her ill health forced her to turn down Mani Ratnam's Kadal, she's still happy that she got some good movies.

Samantha said SS Rajamouli's Eega movie gave her a new image as in Tollywood and it's Tamil version Naan Ee introduced her to the Tamil audience. Therefore, doors are open for her even in Tamil Nadu. Also Gutam Menon's Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu was released in Tamil and Telugu versions. Samantha has recently tweeted stating that  2012 was one of her best years.
