Tollywood has been predominantly giving due importance to the looks when it comes to female lead. While this was subtly told by Ileana, who said she had to put in extra efforts in Bollywood, for her Barfi picture (in terms of performance), the same formula seems to be reiterated by the most happening heroine Amala Paul. She said that looks play a major role in the career of a heroines. Ruling out this as a main factor for heroine, she said screen presence and talent are the main things than glamour alone.

Following the same formula, Amala Paul said she wouldn't go with the make up thing and simply rely on her talent in her latest project 'Love Failure.' Well, it looks like Amala Paul is following the footsteps of actress Nandita Das. But then Nandita Das was no way close to commercial cinema and critics said heroines cannot overlook glamorous part when they want to make it big in commercial cinema. Lets wait and watch whether Amala Paul can attract audience with her no make up principle.
