Two glamor dolls of tinsel world had harrowing experience while shooting an action sequence for a film. The two stars Piya (Rangam fame) and Bindhu Madhavi, had a hairline escape while shooting a risky shot flinging from a flying helicopter. Actually it was a fight sequence and the actors were narrated the risk, but they were adamant to do the sequence without a body double. After relentless arguments from the crew the actors won and went on with the sequence. It so happened that the two heroines will hang outside a flying copter, while the hero is inside safe fighting the villain.

In their anxiety to be more natural, the two lost their balance and were tossed to the grounds. Thanks to the vision of the crew who had erected nets below the flying area. The actors came down thud on the nets. After some unavoidable bounce they were rescued and brought down by the crew safely. The poor girls were nervous after the accident and took some time to recoup for the rest of the shoot.

This happened on the sets of  a Tamil film Sattam Oru Iruttarai and the hero of the film was Thaman Kumar. The shoot was being shot at Hong Kong. But for the timely presence of mind of the crew, things could have proved worse, say onlookers. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
