Kareena doesn't speak of her conversion

It had long become public the fact that the number one Bollywood actress is going to be the better half of her co-actor in Kurbaan, Saif Ali Khan. Recently they had also declared that their wedding would be on October 16 while they have kept the venue a secret. Kareena maintains the same level of secrecy about her conversion to Islam after marriage.

Though Saif's mother, noted actress Sharmila Tagore had reported to the media that they would tie the knot on Oct 16, Kareena refuses to say a word on it as she warded away the questions saying "You all know everything, then why are you asking," at the promotion of her upcoming movie, Heroine.

She mentioned that the date and venue for the wedding would be disclosed after they decide it. She said, "Only thing is that we have not decided where it will be and when it will be. So, whenever we will decide, we shall talk."

Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi, Saif's father had also married a Hindu, Sharmila Tagore who had later converted to Islam and changed her maiden name to Ayesha Begum.

When she was asked about the conversion after marriage, 32 year old Kareena felt offended and responded saying, "That's a very wrong question, which I will not be answering."

Later she had fired against the media who pelted questions regarding her marriage in the press conference for the promotion of her next film to be released within a week. "No I can't. I am so sorry. This is not a press conference about my wedding." However as a teaser she mentioned that she would wear a red sari for the marriage. She said "red is my favourite colour”.
