RGV may duplicate "Taj Mahal Palace" for his next movie

Controversial Filmmaker RGV is in trouble now after he had wanted to make a film at on the Mumbai Terrorism 7/11 mishaps as he has received no cooperation from the officials in Mumbai. They had turned down his requests for shooting the film at the Taj Mahal and the Tower Hotel in Colaba.

His ambitious project had earlier too faced the problem of permissions after he had only a partial grant at the CST station to film the scenes.
Most authorities are unwilling to cooperate as they do not want to see the incident again even though it is just a movie. The hotel had been washed in blood in the unfortunate event of the terrorist siege.

Sources mentioned that Ramu bhai was disappointed after being denied of the permission to shoot at CST or hotels at Colaba. He added, "After shooting some sequences at CST, he will shoot the rest of the gory and firing scenes on another set."

We all know RGV is not the kind of guy who would give controversies a miss. He wanted to make sure that his script goes on as planned. He had recreated the entire lobby of Colaba hotel at another hotel in Juhu which is now rented for shootings. The complete set has been recreated by art director Uday Singh after spending Rs 2.5 crore rupees.

Where does the conversation end without a controversial state ment when RGV is involved.  He said, “It could be traumatic for many to see the recreation of that horrible tragedy. For me, in the context of the attacks, a five star hotel is the symbol of human achievement in terms of splendor. To see blood flowing on its polished floors and its pristine walls and artifacts there to be riddled with bullets are living testimony of the ultimate barbarism 'Man' is capable of doing."
