Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who received a good break with her first film Ye Maya Cheave (YMC), directed by noted film maker Gautam Menon unfortunately didn't receive any major hits after YMC. Although Eega played well at box office, the main theme of the movie was graphics and screenplay. So, Eega too was unable to shoot Samantha into the limelight once again. The sources said that no other director other than Gautam Menon was able to show Samantha as beautiful as she's. And there's obviously all good reasons for Samantha to smile as she would soon come before the Telugu audience with Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu, which is being directed by Gautam Menon.

The film critics said that there were so many hopes on this movie since it will roll out from Gautam Menon's factory.  Nani is playing the lead role in YVM and Tamil version of this film will be released simultaneously. While Samanta will appear in female lead in both the versions, Nani would be replaced by Jeeva in Tamil.  The sources said that shoot of the movie was in full swing and most likely YVM would be released in October.
