The prestigious project of Akkineni Nagarjuna, Damarukam is scheduled to be released on Dushera.  The sources said that the post production of the movie had been underway for quite sometime. The film unit sources have told Andhra Wishesh that the movie revolves around mythology and it would supposedly attract the audience.

Hot babe of south, Anushka Shetty is playing the female lead in Damarukam. The movie is being directed by Srinivasa Reddy. Nagarjuna's another project, Shirdi Sai is also a mythological film. The film critics were wondering as to why Nagarjuna, who tagged himself as romantic hero, is showing interest in mythological movies. May be Nag wants to retire with dignity, said some of the film pundits in Telugu cinema.
