The versatile actress who contributed her best for the growth and recognition of Indian Cinema, Nandita Das has said that main stream  commercial cinema was not her cup of tea. She made these statements in the wake of the questions that people still ask her. Nandita wondered as to why people ask her when she would appear in commercial movie even after knowing her for over a decade.

Nandita Das has said that she has no interest in the commercial movie and made it clear that she had nothing against it. The gorgeous actress has also mentioned that she won’t even watch commercial movies and her interest always lies in art movies.

After getting married to Mumbai-based man Subodh Maskara in 2010, Nandita Das conceived and was away from the cinema for quite sometime. Now she is all set to make a come back with two films.

The 42-year-old actress has even said that she wanted to go behind the camera lens yet another time provided that she gets good story. It is known that Nandita Das has directed Firaaq earlier and it was highly appreciated by many film critics across the globe. (Phani)
