50 Million Facebook Accounts Attacked

50 Million Facebook Accounts Attacked:- Facebook said that almost 50 million of its users expressed a security flaw and the content was exploited. The attackers were able to exploit vulnerability in a feature "View As" to get the hold of all these accounts. The breach has been discovered on Tuesday informed Facebook officially and a complaint has been lodged. Facebook even revealed that the flaw has been fixed now and all the accounts are safe. All the accounts are reset informed Guy Rosen, Vice-President of Product Management for Facebook.

The share price of Facebook came down by 3% on Friday and it has two billion active users on the social networking platform. The recent breach would allow all the hackers to log in to the accounts of others that use Facebook. Other major sites like AirBnB and Tinder are affected. Facebook revealed that the users need not login again or change the passwords as the breach has been rectified. "View As" function is a privacy feature that allows the users to see how their own profile looks to other users.
