iPhone users can now use WhatsApp on web

Finally, even iPhone users can now sync their accounts and chats to WhatsApp Web. As of now, iOS is already listed on Whatsapp website, but is gradually rolling out to iPhone users in the application’s latest update.

Whatsapp Web was launched in last January, which supported all the mobiles like Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry, but not iOS, due to the limitations in the Apple platform.

In April, Whatsapp web succeeded in getting 800 million active users per month. Even out of so much of craze, Whatsapp still lags behind application like WeChat and KakaoTalk, especially in the Asian markets like China and South Korea. Along with these, ‘Line’ is another app, which is the top most messaging service in Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand countries.

To tackle the competition from the competitors, in April, WhatsApp launched voice calling option. But as the call options are found to be very costly, it was found a failure initiation from WhatsApp.

However, introducing WhatsApp web for iOS is still a less important roll out, but there are chances of stopping the people from going to other messaging services like Line or WeChat, leaving WhatsApp.
