After David Gower who managed to achieve the feat in 1984-85, an year after India won the world cup,  Alastair Cook has repeated history one year after Dhoni and co won India the world cup.

All credit goes to the excellent batting from England especially the tons from Jonathan Trott and Ian Bell who managed 147 and 116 respectively driving England far from a defeat. Indians could only watch as England comfortably managed to seize the game from out hands. England ended the game scoring 352 in the second innings.
