England take control at the end of day 2

England is the team to have the last smiles at the end of day two as they remain at the crease trailing behind only 149 runs. By the end of the day the Brits have managed to score 178 with eight wickets in hand.

With an unbeaten 110 run partnership danger man Kevin Pietersend and Captain Alastair Cook remain at the crease with proud half-centuries pushing India slightly behind in the race. They seemed to be trying too hard to prevent a whitewash this series denying the revenge for Indian team.

At the Wankhede Stadium, by the time the stumps were off Cook (87*) and Pietersen (62*) managed to trouble and fatigue the Indian bowling attack, especially the spinners.

Providing the break through for India Pragnyan Ojha's dismissed Nick Compton before tea time while in his next over a cunning arm ball sent back Trott for a duck.

Cook, Compton and Monty Panesar before lunch worked in succession to stop India at a meager 327 on the tough wicket. Greame Swann claimed 4 wickets while Panesar out did him with five.

Will India make its comeback in the game tomorrow?
