Euro 2012 has adjudged Spain as the best Europeon football team in the World. Spain defeats arch rival Italy on Sunday at the Kiev's Olympic Stadium in Ukraine. Spain retains its form to claim its title and extending its reign as the best team in world football. The 4-0 lead by Spain made the difference which trounced back Italy's chances at the final.

Four best strikers of Spain sealed the victory for the team in the final against Italy. Goals from David Silva and Jordi Alba in the first half gave Spain a convincing lead. Fernando Torres and fellow substitute Juan Mata added goals in the last six minutes.

Spain proved detractors wrong that football has turned monotonous with the Sunday game. The reigning champion lifts the world cup for a record hat trick. This act by the Spanish is a record for any Europeon team till date. Inspite of Italy in a comfortable position in the first-half, but later Spain made a turn around to reign supreme.

Kudos to the Spain captain Iker Casillas for his outstanding prowess in keeping Italy's attack at bay for his 10th consecutive clean sheet in tournament knockout matches. This victory of Spain is compared to the most comprehensive in a European Championship final, beating West Germany's 3-0 win over the Soviet Union in 1972.
Stats say that `Spain record first ever win by a 4-goal margin in a European Championship or World Cup final. Only Brazil in 1958 scored more goals in a final (5).'
