Google Maps India Introduces Live Tracking for Buses and Trains:- Google Maps India launched three new public transport features to help the commuters in the country. All the ten largest cities in the country will be able to track the train and bus timings along with their live status along with the suggestions about public transport. "Transit navigation is one of the most popular Maps features in India, and we look forward to these new features that will bring more value to users," said Taylah Hasaballah, Product Manager, Google Maps, while announcing the new India-first features.

Based on the live traffic, Google Maps users can view the bus travel times and calculate the exact delays. With the live traffic facility, the commuters will also be able to track the trip time along with the delay. This feature is now live in Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Lucknow, Chennai, Mysuru, Coimbatore and Surat. Google Maps developed in partnership with 'Where is My Train' app which was acquired by Google in 2018. It also indicates about the travel time and which station they should take an auto-rickshaw to/from.
