Google to open campus in Hyderabad

Internet giant Google may soon open a big and permanent campus in Hyderabad and it will be the third campus they have in United States and United Kingdom. Google is expected to sign a memorandum of Understanding with Telangana state government. The California based IT giant has rented premises in Hyderabad and want to move to a permanent premises.

Confirming the Google's deal, Telangana IT secretary Harpeet Singh said, “Google will open a massive campus in Hyderabad and shortly it will sign an MoU with Telangana government.” However, Mr Singh declined to go further into the details of this deal. He added that Cisco, Airtel, Vodafone and a Taiwanese company, among others are looking forward to establish their base in Hyderabad but need more consultations.

The city of Hyderabad would be a Wi-Fi enabled city by 2015 year end and the government is pulling in more internet service providers to achieve this target.
