Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] finally released its official Android app with the name 'IRCTC Connect' which will make easier process for the travelers. This App allows users to book railway tickets, apart from checking reservation status, train schedules, train routes, availability of tickets, cancellation and many more.

The official IRCTC Connect App can now be downloaded for free from Google Play store and is about 12MB in size. In August, IRCTC launched its official ticket booking app for BlackBerry 10 smartphone users and the demand for Android users grew. The IRCTC also has provided a user guide for new users that detail the use the application.

Now book tickets from anywhere to any destination at your fingertips. The application will be available in the Navigation & Travel section.
