Android has entered the lives of several millions already forming an integral part of everyone's lives. This technology currently only on a major number of phones and tablets will soon enter the laptops too.

Intel will take the opportunity to power these Android based laptops that would be low-cost notebooks. CEO of Intel has already mentioned that they are looking at sub $200 laptops with touch screen based on their processors. Though he didn't mention any details regarding the OS of the laptops, it could be guessed that they will look at Android, a well developed platform.

This will bring down the notebooks' prices down to $200 or lower (Rs. 10,850 approximately). Intel Atom will be the mobile processors for the laptops. Intel Core processors will also power high end portable devives priced within the range or $399 to $499.

With consumers trying to pick options other than laptops with Windows 8, lower cost tablets with a touch interface would be a very attractive option. These devices would be hot cakes once they are in the market.
