Sony competes with Apple iPhone 5

Sony has been out of the mobile market at a large after the market was being dominated by Android and iOS particularly the Samsung and Apple. Apple's latest iPhone 5 sparked a revolution around the world after it decided to come out with a bigger screen, and making it more powerful while remaining thinner. Samsung Galaxy SIII was a beast with a quad core processor that made it infinitesimally faster than the existing phones.

Sony however still lurked in the mid range phones. Sony Xperia S was its best bet which was not even close to its competitors. However that is past. Xperia is back in the game with its full HD phone Xperia Z.

Sony Xperia Z technical specifications

The 5" LCD with 1080p resolution, 440 ppi

2GB of RAM
Adreno 320 GPU

The phone was unveiled at the CES 2013 at Las Vegas. The Dell also released its XPS 13 flagship laptop with a true HD 1080P display.
