It is almost certain that Nokia will now be entering the highly profitable marketing segment of electronic gadgets, the tablets and 10 inch tablets at those competing with the number one maker of the 10 inch form factor, Apple iPad.

Nokia is now negotiating with Microsoft, Qualcomm and Compal Electronics regarding their proposed 10-inch tablet which is expected to be powered by Windows RT.  If all goes well we may see glimpses of the rumored tabletin February at the Mobile World Congress, to be held in Barcelona.

The tablet was an early idea back in the beginning of 2012 but the Finnish makers had scrapped their plans due to the launch of Microsoft; which helped them to assess the demand that it could create. With the lukewarm response for the Microsoft Surface, it has been reported by sources that the proposed 2,00,000 unit order might be axed to a lower number before being finalized.
