Children have the most creative imagination on earth but only a few can convey them and Arun Kumar Yadav, Class IX is one of them. He has been chosen the winner of the Doodle 4 Google India 2012 which has been chosen to represent the Google Doodle for Children's Day.

The Class IX Students hails from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Chandigarh who had participated in the Doodle 4 Google India 2012 contest that scouts for young talent all over the nation up to Class X challenging their imagination and creativity. This would put their skills to test in a given topic. The challenge this time was to depict India's Unity in Diversity capturing the most unique aspects of India amidst the diversities.

The theme of Doodle 4 Google India 2012 was named 'India: A prism of multiplicity'. This competition was open to all students from 5-16.  Arun Kumar Yadav was the winner in the national segment as several others were chosen for other categories.

Arun's imagination ran wide while creating the doodle for Google. The ā€œGā€ represented the sports segment of the nation with Tennis, Batminton, Cricket, Hockey and Football. The first "O" was represented by a Kathakali, a traditional dance form from Kerala, the second "O" represented the country's love for ornaments, and gold. The national bird, a colorful peacock perched in the form of a second "G". The country's agricultural background was aptly chosen to represent the "L" with a farmer holding a plow on his shoulder. The vibrant doodle was sealed with a representation of our spices and cusines like chilli. The greatness of India despite the diversities was clearly depicted in the doodle, making it the most deserving submission.
