Wrestler Sakshi Malik is soon going to get married to fellow Indian wrestler Satyawart Kadian, said the Olympics bronze medal-winner’s family.

According to media reports, the two wrestlers had decided to get married before Malik left for the Rio Olympics last month. Kadian is also from the city of Rohtak, in Haryana.

Kadian, who is also an international level wrestler, has won silver at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games, and bronze at the Incheon Asian Games, which were held the same year.

Meanwhile, Sakshi became a national icon, after she achieved the unprecedented feat of being the first woman to win an Olympic medal in wrestling, earlier this year. Kadian, 22, was one of the first to congratulate Malik on Facebook, after she clinched bronze at the Rio Olympics.
