Mercedes Benz has launched the B-Class diesel variant that is available at just Rs23 Lakhs. The car has a 4 cylinder 2.2 liter diesel engine.

The B-Class segment of cars have been on the rise in the market since Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz and Volvo took advantage of the model. However, this new variant is now powered by diesel, which spells good news for car enthusiasts, particularly in India. This car is expected to gain more demand than the petrol version for its ability to save costs. The car engine makes 108PS of power.

The car comes with seven-speed dual clutch transmission, variable geometry turbine and 2149cc displacement. It builds up power and speed rapidly while driving, giving 17-18 km per liter on the highway and 14-15 km per liter in the city. The fuel tank has a capacity of 50 liters.
