Honda's first diesel car, Amaze, launches next week

Honda doesn't compete with other manufacturers in the diesel segment. But that will soon be history, after April 11, 2013. Yes in less than two weeks, Honda will reveal their next car Amaze which will enthrall the Honda fans with a diesel and petrol variant of the car. The car incidentally is also in the entry level segment of the sedan.

Honda is leaving no stone unturned with its homework as it has started visiting the ones in person at their homes, who have purchased its latest hatchback Brio trying to learn what the people are looking at. The maintenance package, extended warranty and other exchange offers are the icing on the cake when it comes to the purchase of the new Honda Amaze.

You will have the benefits of the lower excise duties with Honda Amaze with its inclusion in the small cars section in India. It is also the direct rival to the best performing car in the segment Maruti Suzuki's Swift DZiRE, which has been selling like hot cakes in the last few years after its introduction.

Thailand has already received the car, but only the petrol variant and the response is overwhelming already. Amaze is an extrapolated version of Brio just as Swift Dzire is the bigger version of Swift, targeting the Asian markets majorly.

Honda which is known for the best performing engines is forayed into the diesel segment too. Will it attract enough customers in this declivitous trend of car sales in India.
