Team India Trashes New Zealand In The First ODI:- After a successful Australian tour, Team India is in New Zealand tour currently. The first one-day international has been held today in McLean Park. New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first. New Zealand could not stand tall before the pace of Indian bowlers and went all out for 157 in 38 overs. Captain Kane Williamson (64) and Ross Taylor (24) have been decent with their bat and New Zealand managed to get 157 runs. Kuldeep Yadav (4/39), Mohammed Shami (3/19) and Yuzvendra Chahal (2/43) have been outstanding with the ball.

With a small target, Team India looked comfortable in the chase but rain interrupted the plan several times. India scored 156/2 in 34.5 overs and has been declared winning the first ODI as peer DLS method. Shikar Dhawan (75) notout and Virat Kohli (45) scored big among the Indian batsmen. Rohit Sharma (11) fell down early and Ambati Rayudu was left 13 not out. Lockie Ferguson and Doug Bracewell took one wicket each. The second ODI will take place on January 26th. Team India is leading the series by 1-0 in the three match series.
