Virat Kohli's Gritty Maiden Ton In England Makes India Top The Show:- Indian skipper Virat Kohli topped the show with a gritty maiden century on the second day of the first test that made India score 274. With England 287 all out in the first innings, Virat's flawless 149 made India end up scoring a decent total just falling short of 13 runs in the first innings. England was 9/1 in their second innings taking the lead to 22. Virat Kohli has been blown away with wishes for his outstanding innings.

Sam Curran (4/74), James Anderson (2/41) and Ben Stokes (2/73) have been exceptional with the ball. Virat Kohli scored 22 boundaries and a six in his innings. India lost 5 wickets for 100 runs after which Virat Kohli battled to get decent score. Hardik Pandya (22) supported the Indian skipped and added 48 runs for the sixth wicket. Virat Kohli lost his mates but he scored runs without any pressure. This is his first century in England. Day three is going to be crucial for both the teams and England is in plans to place a decent target for India.
