India Still On Top After Srilanka Makes Decent:- India has been leading in the three test series with Srilanka with 1-0. The third and the final test is taking place and India topped the show with a massive first innings score of 536/7 (declared). Srilanka too managed to make a decent score with 356 for the loss of nine wickets on its third day of the third test. Chandimal and Mathews managed to shine under pressure with their centuries which made Srilanka get some decent figures on board. Srilanka is still behind by 180 runs and will face the pressure on the fourth day of the test. The Chandimal-Mathews partnership alone consumed 79.1 overs.

Indians missed numerous opportunities in the New Delhi test which is taking place currently. Indian spinners dominated the scene with their performance today. Mathews was left thrice after which he completed his ton. Though the match was slow during the early hours, things changed towards Srilanka after lunch. However the Indian spinners picked up wickets during the last session which turned out towards India. We have to wait till tomorrow if Srilanka manages to stand strong between huge pressure.
