As the ground was drenched in the rain water, the second Test match between India and South Africa, was delayed in the morning and the umpires had decided to commence it at 2 pm.

Second day in a row, the second test match of IND vs SA, was kept on hold. However, in the morning itself, the umpires inspected the field and said that, the match would be resuming in the afternoon, if the field is found satisfactory for the purpose.

So, finally, after the inspection, and several discussions between the officials, it was decided to commence the match at 2 pm.  
 
In the beginning, it was expected that, there are no such possibilities  and the second Test might get a halt, even on the fourth day too. But upon the umpires green signal, the cricket lovers are thrilled.   
 
On the first day of the second test, conducted on Saturday, India could send South Africa out of the pavilion for 214 and it scored 80 runs, for no loss by stumps.

After securing 108 runs win in the first Test in Mohali, India lead the four-match series.  The third Test is scheduled to be played on November 25, in Nagpur.

Today’s match is expected to be another significant episode in the duo’s (India and South Africa) combination.
