IPL 2016: Daredevils aims hat-trick wins against MI

After bad performances in the two editions of the IPL, Delhi Daredevils current form is exciting the fans and also the coaching staff.

If at all, Mumbai Indians could do it well in IPL 2016 match today, it will be after 4 years again, when they won 3 IPL matches in a row.

While MI won 2 out of 5 matches, the Daredevils after losing to KKR, bounced back strongly. The confidence was at the peaks after gaining the victory against Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Opener Quinton de Kock has 184 runs in 3 innings, including a 51-ball 108. The untested batting order might be a concern, but Karun Nair's timely contribution, to go with Sanju Samson and Shreyas Iyer gives them hope.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians averted a 3rd consecutive defeat against RCB at home. To open the innings, Rohit Sharma was promoted and Ambati Raudu’s newly moved 3rd position has given the batting a settled look.

Martin Guptill was replaced by Kieron Pollard in the line-up and the latter played a match winning knock and their bowlers Tim Southee and Mitchell McClenaghan has not allowed Lasith Malinga's absence to be felt.

However, they still need to find the right batting order. Stick to one pattern, give time to the batsmen and the results will show.

Along with the MI’s big players, the new addition Krunal Pandya is expected to benefit big time.
