She has said that she was attracted to Barack Obama and she was driven by the smell of sweat and deodorant that came from his room. Genevieve Cook has present some of the extracts from her diaries. She mentioned in her dairy that Barack Obama had a strong sexual warmth.

She has said that the young Obama used to loaf around in streets bare chest while working on a newspaper crossword. The extracts from her diary has also revealed that Obama and Cook met for the first time at a Christmas party in East Village of New York in 1983. The two liked each other and Cook was attracted to him very soon.  The age of Barack Obama was 22 then while Ms. Cook was 25 years old. In he diary she even wrote that how was Obama so grown up already, at the age of 22. This means that Obama was matured enough.
