Sachin gives away BMW to Saina

Batting icon Sachin Tendulkar has handed over a BMW car to Saina Nehwal at around 8 pm on Sunday at Hotel Taj Krishna in Hyderabad for having won a bronze in London Olympics. While winning a bronze medal itself was an achievement to Saina, meeting legendary cricketer and receiving a car from his hands was something special to the star shuttler given that Sachin Tendulkar was her favourite player.
It may be noted that former general secretary of Andhra Cricket Association, Chamundeshwarinath-along with his friends-has conveyed this felicitation programme wherein BMW car was handed over to Saina. Earlier, Chamundeshwarinath and his friends gave similar awards to tennis sensation Sania Mirza.
Expressing her happiness over the felicitation programme, Saina Nehwal said she was happy to receive the gift from the hands of Sachin Tendulkar and stressed that it was the most memorable day of her life. Meanwhile, Sachin Tendulkar has congratulated all the players who won medals at the recently concluded London Olympics. (AW Phani)
