Young MLAs complain against VH

Congress MLAs have voiced against senior party leader V Hanumantha Rao over his foul-mouthed comments. In a letter to the party state affairs in-charge Ghulam Nabi Azad, the elected representatives remarked that the veteran's protest at Tirupati led to the dismal performance of the party in the byelections. The letter was written by Jogi Ramesh and Malladi Vishnu. The young lot wanted the high command to take necessary action on the veteran over his callous remarks.

It may be noted that earlier the veteran had  staged a silent protest at Tirupati, when YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had failed to tender an apology for his “irresponsible act on the sacred hills of Tirumala”.

It may also be remembered that Jagan's group raised pro Jagan slogans on the Kadapa MP's visit to Tirumala earlier this month. Jagan has also not signed the required documents needed for devotees of other religions to visit the Tirumala temple.

The Senior leader also said that he had appealed to Jagan to tender an apology and sign a declaration form, but Jagan did not relent, hence he (Hanumantha Rao) had decided to stage the silent protest and pray to Lord Venkateswara to forgive everyone for such a grave mistake.
