TDP delegation meets Governor

TDP delegation on Saturday met the Governor ESL Narasimhan and asked him to quash the government orders on Vanpic project. The team headed by Erran Naidu has urged the Governor to take over the lands allotted for Vanpic project and assign them for farmers in the state. Further, the team demanded an exgratia too for the farmers.
While TDP requested ESL Narasimhan to interfere in Vanpic project scam, the Governor said he would take legal advice and then direct the government to do the needful for farmers. The political observers said that this new gimmick by TDP was to attract the attention of the farmers so that they can bank on them in 2014 elections. TDP seemed to have forgotten that it faced the wrath of farmers long ago and farmers in the state are apparently not in a situation to believe the promises and acts of TDP.
