Chiru addresses World Telugu Meet at London

Congress MP Chiranjeevi has addressed the large gathering of talent, intellect and personality at the World Telugu Meet, which began on Saturday, in London. Chiru stressed on the importance of Telugu language and stressed on the need to protect the language. The two day meet, which started on Saturday will conclude today. Notably, this is the first of its kind wherein a world wide meet to emphasize the importance of local languate, is being organized overseas. Megastar Chiranjeevi became a major attraction at the event. In fact, eminent Telugu speaking personalities marked their presence at the two-day mega event.

The main aim of the meeting was to aim at the need of strengthening Telugu as a classical language. In fact, a group of Telugu language experts started studying talapatralu (leaflets, which contain Telugu scriptures) to find out the important aspects written by the ancient sages and scholars. These findings would be submitted to the Andhra Pradesh Government, said Prabhakar Kaza, the president of organizing committee.

Chiranjeevi, despite his busy schedule, took time to attend this meeting keeping in view the importance and need for preserving and strengthening Telugu language. In fact, every Telugu speaking person should feel it as a matter of pride that a person like Chiranjeevi, who is hailed not only for his talent but also for his generosity, hails from the state of Telugus. This is probably the reason why almost everyone in the state want Chiranjeevi as the chief minister of the state as none apparently looks at the political party in the state but just at the personalities. And that way Congress is apparently lucky that it has a leader like Chiranjeevi. The observers said that Congress should notice this public demand and make Chiranjeevi the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.
