Addl chargesheet by CBI rejected by court

The CBI special court, which is probing the illegal assets case, has returned the additional chargesheet filed by thew CBI recently. The court questioned as to why the names of the individuals were not included in the chargesheet as it contained only the name of companies. The court has also expressed its anguish over the CBI for filing the chargesheet in an inappropriate manner. The court has directed the CBI slueths to file a correct chargesheet with complete information.

It may be noted that CBI is trying illegal assets case upon the direction of the Andhra Pradesh High Court. It has named several key people as the accused in the chargesheet. The prime accused in the case, Jaganmohan Reddy is currently behind the bard undergoing judicial custody.
