TDP introspects over defeat

TDP is introspecting on the party's defeat in bypolls. The TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu has convened a meeting with the secretaries and parliamentary party leaders at NTR Trust Bhavan in Hyderabad. He has reportedly sought the opinion of the leaders on the defeat. The opinion of each and every leader was sought and same has been recorded, said a leader. This opinion taking was apparently to ensure that TDP comes to power in 2014.
It is known that TDP drew a blank in the recently concluded bypolls to 18 assembly constituencies and one Lok Sabha constituency. Many political observers said that Chandrababu Naidu's silence in many key issues costed the party dearly. They have also said that the party's success in 2014 would be grim in case Chandrababu Naidu doesn't take out something like padayatra.
