Shankar Rao demands CM to step down

Congress leadership in Andhra Pradesh seems to be at stake as many Congress leaders express their displeasure over the same. Recently, former minister Shankar Rao joined the league against Kiran Kumar Reddy and Botsa Satyanarayana. He has demanded the chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy to step down from CM throne. He apparently gave this advice to the party bigwigs as a concern to save Congress party in the state.

Also, Shankar Rao said except for Kiran Kumar Reddy, he would welcome anyone as the chief minister of the state. He has once again held Kiran Kumar Reddy responsible for Congress party's defeat in bypolls. Earlier, Shankar Rao wrote a letter to AICC president Sonia Gandhi stating that defeat in bypolls was defeat of Kiran sarkar and not the defeat of Congress party.
