Cong would emerge victorious: Chiru

The MP (Rajya Sabha) and the Congress leader Chirnajeevi-who left the silver screen to focus on the problems of the state-has exuded confidence that Congress party would emerge victorious in the by-polls to 17 assembly constituencies and one Lok Sabha constituency.

Chiranjeevi who was in Vishakapatnam this morning has briefed the media for the first time after becoming MP. He hailed the Congress party and predicted the party’s victory.

The megastar has also said that his son Ramcharan Tej would tie nuptial knots to Upasana on June 14.

Notably, Chiranjeevi joining the Congress party seems to have worked out for the Congress as Chiru has always been the man of the masses. Chiru has a huge fan base in coastal Andhra region and majority of people look at him as next to God. The party’s apparent idea that only Chiru could put a check to Jagan will presumably turn fruitful to the Congress party. (Phani)
