TDP MPs stage protest at Parliament

The TDP MPs from Telangana region have staged a protest at Gate number one of the Parliament. They demanded the Centre to table bill on Telangana in the Parliament. It is known that Congress MPs from this region got suspended for creating ruckus in the house on the first day of the second budget session. The Congress MPs gained enough space in the newspapers for that event and seemed to have enjoyed the limelight.

The TDP MPs reportedly want to enjoy the same limelight by presumably trying to make people fools as TDP supremo clearly stated that two regions were like two eyes to him and it was important to protect the party in both regions.  So, it looks like Congress MPs and TDP MPs from Telangana are only hitting headlines continuously over the namesake protests but don’t seem to be supporting the Centre in finding a solution to the problem.  Earlier, the Centre asked the opinion of the parties over bifurcation and TDP, according to the Centre, its reply. It may be noted that only three political parties gave their stand on the issue. Therefore, as proposed by the Centre parties should first tell their decision on the issue and it alone would supposedly help towards finding a solution. Otherwise, leaders staging protests would only be treated as vote bank politics. (Phani)
