CBI Court denies to give addl charge sheet to Vijayasai
The CBI Court in Nampally has today denied to give additional charge sheet to the second accused in Jagan disproportionate case, Vijayasai Reddy. The court denied to give charge sheets to even B P Acharya and Raghava in their alleged connection with Emmar properties case. The court, however, gave permission to Vijayasai Reddy for reading the charge sheet in the court before the Judge.
It has to be mentioned here that Vijayasai Reddy asked the court that he be given a copy of the additional charge sheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation. Notably, CBI on Monday filed the additional charge sheet in Jagan disproportionate case.
Vijayasai Reddy surrendered before the court on Saturday after the Andhra Pradesh High Court squashed the bail granted to him a few days ago by the CBI Court. He was named as accused number two in the charge sheet. The CBI said that Vijayasai Reddy not only acted as an agent to Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy but also tried to press the key witnesses and didn’t support them in the enquiry. CBI was also of the opinion that Vijayasai Reddy has the capability to manipulate the evidences. (Phani)
