Suspension is a petty matter, say Cong MPs

The eight Telangana Congress MPs who were suspended from the Lok Sabha for four days over ruckus in the hall seemed to have become heroes, but is it at the cost of the party? Our sources say yes!

The Congress has sent in signals that they were against their own leaders as it suspended them. Although there were other means to ensure smooth functioning of Lok Sabha, why did Congress choose this step is the most happening question for the day and the topic of the town.

The suspended MPs on the other hand have said that they were ready for any kind of fight for fulfilling the wishes of people in their region. The MPs have also said that today was black day since they were suspended. They said they won’t rest until the Centre starts the process for the formation of Telangana state. Also, they said no back steps and flip flops on their decision.  Further, the MPs said they knew that they would be suspended and yet they went ahead and displayed placards in favour of bifurcation. The important aspect is Telangana and not the suspension, they added. The MPs have also urged all the political parties to come forward and support them. (Phani)
