War of words between parties escalate

The war of words seems to be escalating between TDP and Congress parties in the state in the wake of the proposed dharnas against liquor mafias in Vizianagaram on the same day today.  With dates clashing, the police reportedly denied the permission for TDP to stage dharna here. The upset Babu took on the Congress and Bothsa in turn pointed out whether Chandrababu Naidu was a human or an animal.  He came down heavily on Babu for making personal remarks. It may be noted that Chandrababu Naidu said Bothsa was a rowdy.

Reacting to the statements made by Bothsa, TDP leaders lashed out at the PCC chief. TDP leader and MLA, Devineni Uma has said that it would be an insult to animals if Bothsa Satynarayana was compared to them. To make a point, he said Bothsa-who feared ACB’s enquiry into liquor syndicates- transferred IAS officer Srinivas Reddy.  Expressing his anguish, he questioned whether Congress would hail liquor syndicates in the state.  The TDP leaders asked Bothsa Satyanarayana to look back at his past before he comments on anyone.

Meanwhile, Uma Maheshwara Rao warned the government of dire consequences in case the government obstructs the proposed dharna by Chandrababu Naidu.

Not just election campaigns but even war of words is going on in full swing ahead of by-polls.  People are reportedly keeping their fingers crossed to know as to which party would be turning victorious in the vote-bank politics. (Phani)
