Kodanda visits T martyr, appeals to youth not to resort to suicides

Telangana political JAC convener Prof. Kodanda Ram today paid tributes to Telangana martyr Mr Srikanth, who committed suicide for the sake of separate state.
Srikanth, a resident of LB Nagar in Hyderabad, attempted suicide four days ago for the sake of Telangana and sustained severe burn injuries but he succumbed to his injuries last night at a hospital.
Kodanda Ram, after visiting the dead body and paying tributes, appealed to the Telangana youth and students not to commit suicides. “We will fight and achieve the separate state and we keep on fighting till we achieve it. But kindly don’t resort to suicides,” he made a fervent appeal.
On the other hand, one Mr Sattaiah of Duddeda, 37, committed suicide by hanging himself for the sake of Telangana on Friday. (J)
