Controversial Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen, a known feminist, condemned the bold behaviour of the Mumbai-based internet Goddess Poonam Pandey in going almost nude on social networking websites.

Taslima found fault with Poonam’s statements, ideas and attitude in her tweets but she herself made a highly controversial statement on Poonam. 

Everyone expects certain kind of dignity from the author Taslima Nasreen when she makes statements about others. But, in a highly objectionable manner, the author has tweeted saying “Poonam Pandey got naked but not satisfied. She wanna do dirtiest things none did before. Wants to get f****d in public! (Sic)”

The controversial remarks followed a tweet by Poonam Pandey who uploaded an almost naked photo of hers under the heading “Attitude is like your underwear; you must wear it, but never show it. (Sic)”

Poonam Pandey preferred to ignore the comment while the author herself again tweeted saying, “My protest angst d objectification is 4 women`s dignity, not 4 publicity. My criticism was angst d video u endorsed. (Sic)”

Further, Taslima also uploaded a video in which Poonam was telling an interviewer that if given an opportunity, she would want to get dirtier than what Vidya Balan did in ‘The Dirty Picture’.
