Speaker Nadendla Manohar today suspended the 11 TRS members from the assembly for two days following their unruly behaviour in the house.

As soon as the assembly met in the morning, TRS members were on their feet demanding introduction of a resolution on Telangana state formation. The TRS members raised slogans in favour of Telangana state obstructing the business of the house and demanding discussion on their adjournment motions.

Rejecting the motions, the Speaker asked the TRS members to resume their seats and allow the assembly to transact its business. As the TRS members continued with their din, the Speaker adjourned the house for 10 minutes.

Again, after the members reassembled, TRS members continued with their sloganeering forcing Manohar to suspend them for two days. (JUBS)
