Former BJP MP Venkata Swamy dead

Former BJP MP Mr Nandipaaku Venkata Swamy, 90, passed away of prolonged illness at the NIMS hospital in Hyderabad today.

Mr Venkata Swamy, also a former IAS officer, was admitted to the NIMS few days ago and the doctors treated him for multiple health problems. The doctors declared him dead today in the afternoon.

Mr Venkata Swamy was elected to the Lok Sabha on BJP ticket in the past. Sources said his two sons were residing abroad and the body would be kept at the NIMS for the next two days till their arrival. (JUBS)
