The on going verbal war between Swamy Chinna Jeer and the TTD Trust Board has exposed the underlying animosities between the spiritual Gurus in the state.

Reacting wildly to the criticism of the TTD administration by Chinna Jeer Swami, Visakha Sarada Peetam head Swami Swarupanandendra alleged that TTD Trust Board Chairman Mr Kanumuri Bapiraju has been wasting away the temple funds for the sake of Chinna Jeer.

Addressing the media after inaugurating the second unit of the Supriya Spinning Mills at Boyapalem of Chilakaluripet in Guntur district this morning, the Visakha-based seer said the TTD has been wasting funds to please the Jeer Swami.

“Recently the TTD spent lakhs of rupees for the Sahasra Tulasi Dalam programme conducted by Chinna Jeer on Tirumala but there were no devotees there. The TTD brought paid - devotees to the programme,” Swarupanandendra alleged, adding such paid programmes were not necessary. (JUBS)
