The cascading affect emanating from the lock-out of Regency Ceramics has had its toll on the subsidiary companies as well in Yanam.

Regency Glazes Ltd, Regma Packaging Pvt Ltd and Regma Paper Products Pvt Ltd have also declared lock out of their all units today saying there was no one to buy their raw material produced in their factories.

“Regency Ceramics has declared lock out and we can’t supply our raw material to any other company,” the managements of the companies said in their lock out notices.

Meanwhile, the police have arrested four persons who were reportedly responsible for the arson and destruction in the factory premises of Regency Ceramics last week and produced them in a local court at Yanam. The court sent them to judicial remand till Feb17. (JUBS)
