HC reserves order on vacation petitions

The high court today reserved its order on the vacation petitions filed by TDP president Chandrababu Naidu and others seeking the cancellation of its earlier orders for a preliminary CBI probe against his alleged misdeeds during his stint as the chief minister.
The high court temporarily suspended the preliminary probe on Tuesday pending a final decision and the division bench consisting of the justices Ms Rohini and Ashutosh Mahanto continued with the hearing today.
The hearing was completed around 3 pm and the court said the order would be delivered later.
Earlier, Mr Susil Kumar, counsel for the Pulivendula YSR Congress MLA Ms Vijayamma, pleaded with the court to cancel the stay imposed on the CBI’s preliminary probe. (JUBS)
