United Progressive Alliance [UPA] government led Congress party ruled the country for a decade. The second term of UPA was hit scams, controversies and many issues and finally it had to pay the price in this May elections. The 2G Spectrum was one of the biggest scams ever happened and after losing the power, Congress leaders are slowly opening up about the issue. Few days back, former Finance Minister P Chidambaram said, then PM Manmohan Singh should have cancelled the licenses once the scam came to light.

However, to defend the UPA government's decisions, senior leader Salman Khurshid has stepped in and is penning a book on the UPA-II regime. The book is titled as 'The Other Side of Mountain' and it will address all the matters that trouble UPA government like anything. Be it Anna Hazare movement, Nirbhaya rape incident, scams and many more. Mr. Khurshid held key portfolios in UPA-II government and was the minister of Foreign Affairs.

The book might release in January or February and no doubt it would reveal some of the sensational facts which even turn controversial.
