Maharashtra, Odisha show interest on survey

The Telangana government which took the comprehensive household survey as a high priority one, is making the all preparations for it which is slated on August 19th. Neighboring states, Maharashtra and Odisha have kept on eye on this survey and expressed their willingness to know more about this survey. Accordingly as per the directions of chief ministers of both the states, Maharashtra and Odisha Chief Secretaries called upon Telangana Chief Secretary Rajeev Sharma and asked for a brief detail on the survey.

The information provided by Telangana CS seems to have satisfied Odisha and Maharashtra secretaries and likely to know more about this. Government sources say that both the chief secretaries might arrive in Hyderabad and have a one on one meeting Rajeev Sharma. However, their arrival needs more clarity, added the source.

Meanwhile in Telangana, hectic preparations are going for the survey and xerox centres, internet shops are crowded as people are taking a copy of their every valuable document needed for the survey. On Monday huge number of people from Hyderabad are leaving to their native places.
